In the autumn of 2005 Robert Amos, for the second time, worked with the potter Harumi Ota to create a collection of decorated porcelain. The pottery is made on the wheel by Ota, bisque-fired, and then decorated with underglaze cobalt blue by Robert Amos. About sixty pieces resulted from this collaboration and some of them are shown here. The size and approximate prices follow:

A cup with a drawing of a monk, front and back. Cup, 3 inches diameter, $35.

 

 

Here are two rice bowls, one with a picture of Rembrandt's girlfriend Saskia. Rice bowl, 5 1/2 inches diameter, $50.
